We strive to create our pages in accordance with current standards for accessible design so that as many people as possible can use them optimally. The requirements for this are set out in Sections 3 (1) and 14 (1) No. 1 of the BFSG in conjunction with Section 12 of the BFSGV. Implementation is also based on the standards of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level A and AA, with additional non-mandatory criteria of Level AAA being met where applicable.
This includes easily recognizable colors and contrasts, as well as clear navigation that can be operated entirely with the keyboard. Visual content should be accessible to all senses. This includes texts that are easy to read due to their size, or images with alternative texts. You can listen to most of our website using a screen reader. We strive to use language that is easy to understand wherever possible. Many of our topics require specialist content that may not be easy for everyone to understand. We also ensure that our website displays correctly on different devices.
Despite our efforts, some users may experience limited functionality. This applies, for example, to graphical navigation elements or other visual design elements that are not generally necessary for operating or understanding the content. Furthermore, this may affect external services linked by us (Doctolib or WeChat), whose accessibility is important to us, but which fall within the responsibility of the respective service providers.
Making our website as accessible as possible is an ongoing process. Occasionally, problems may arise with regard to accessibility. In this case, we would be grateful if you could let us know.
